Irondale Police Department received a special Christmas Gift from the drilling & blasting crew from Southern States Drilling and Blasting. The Irondale Police Department has worked with the blasting crew regularly helping with traffic control down Grants Mill & Old Leeds Road to keep motorists safe while demolition was in progress. This could be the last week for the blasting crew to be working at the planned Publix site. Thanks so much for the gift, it will be displayed in either the squad room or front reception area.

The Blessing Box is a local food pantry in Irondale sponsored by Heidi’s Kids that helps people in a time of need. Witnesses of the generosity said that the Grinch was singing Christmas Carols as he loaded the food pantry. Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays to all!
