Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway Tomorrow

COME GET YOUR BLESSING!

TOMORROW: Mayor Stewart will host our 3rd Annual City of Irondale Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway along with the Irondale Community Foundation on Saturday, November 18, 2023.

This year, we have partnered with Heidi’s Kids, Church of the Highlands, and The Church at Grants Mill to provide something extra special— sides and the trimmings to go along with the turkey for a complete holiday meal!

Turkeys and meal kits will be distributed at Irondale City Hall beginning at 9:00 a.m. Distribution will be via drive-through, while supplies last.

End of the Year Trash Amnesty

It’s time for Trash Amnesty in the City of Irondale!

Irondale Public Works will pick up any garbage items, except hazardous materials, during your district’s designated week. Please see the attached graphic for the schedule. This is an effort by Mayor Stewart to clean up and beautify our neighborhoods. Please leave your items out on the curb at the beginning of the week, and our crews will work to pick them up as soon as possible.

Irondale Publix Open for Business!

Mayor Stewart joined our Irondale Publix team to cut the ribbon this morning, and the store is now officially open for business! It has been 16 years since the City of Irondale has had a grocery store in our community, so this is truly a celebratory occasion. Stop by 1288 Grants Mill Road, Irondale, AL 35210 to check out Publix at Cahaba Crossings and get your grocery shopping done locally today.
