🚨🚨The City of Ironton, Missouri (the City) hereby invites sealed bids from qualified contractors for a public works project described as follows: roof replacement on the Police & Fire Station located at 121 North Main St., Ironton, MO 63650.

Bids will be received until 5:00 P.M. local time on Monday, June 8th, 2026, at City of Ironton, City Hall, 123 North Main Street, Ironton, MO 63650, at which time and place the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids received after the deadline will be returned unopened.

Bid documents, including plans, specifications, and forms of bid, contract, and bonds (Contract Documents), will be available on and after Wednesday, May 13th, 2026 from the City’s office and may be obtained as follows: 1. In person: City of Ironton, City Hall, 123 North Main Street, Ironton, MO 63650; 2. Telephone: (573)546-3545.

Electronic copies may be provided at no charge upon request.

The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Payment Bond [Required by RSMo. 107.170 for all public works contracts over 50,000] and a Performance Bond, each in the amount of one
hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price, and to provide certificates of insurance meeting the requirements set forth in the Contract Documents prior to ex*****on of the Contract.

All work shall be completed within 90 days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed.

Contractors and subcontractors must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local requirements, including but not limited to prevailing wage requirements, non-discrimination laws and regulations, OSHA safety standards, and licensing.
The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities or irregularities in bidding, and to accept the lowest and best bid.
