Today, I announced the Ohio Sobriety Treatment and Reducing Trauma (Ohio START), the program that helps stabilize families struggling with substance use, is the first in the nation to receive national certification from Children and Family Futures. I congratulate our partners at the Public Children Services Association of Ohio. bit.ly/4a7UVhd

We are thrilled to share today's announcement from Gov. Mike DeWine that Ohio START is officially the first in the nation to receive national certification from Children and Family Futures (CFF) and be recognized as a Certified State Infrastructure Affiliate!

This achievement, a testament to the program's dedication to excellence in providing crucial recovery services to families affected by child maltreatment and substance use disorder, has been years in the making. Originally introduced as a pilot project in Ohio in 2017, Ohio START has since expanded its reach to 53 counties, positively impacting over 2,300 children.

Join us in celebrating this incredible milestone for Ohio START and the countless families whose lives have been transformed by the program! 🎉
