Holidays can be hectic – cooking, people coming and going, decorations and wrapping – pets often go missing during this time. If you have a particularly slippery one, keep them upstairs or behind a gate if you have a holiday party. Keep a collar – with your updated information – on them at all times.

Check on your neighbors!

A simple knock on the door or phone call to an elderly neighbor can make a big difference during harsh temperatures. With more cold weather forecasted in our area over the next few days, its important to check on our elderly, critically ill, and homebound friends/neighbors/family members.

Our department would like to thank Arrick’s Propane for presenting a Propane emergency class. Although we have very few large tanks in the city, we don’t respond to many calls related to these types of incidents. While here a truck was brought in and we were able to look over the safety systems. Again thank you. The training was a great refresher for our members.
