Memorial Day is more than a long weekend or a day off work. It is a time to pause and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice secured the freedoms we enjoy today and their courage will never be forgotten. As we gather with family and friends, may we also honor the memory of those who made the ultimate sacrifice and keep their legacy alive through gratitude, respect, and service to one another.

Today, we honor the courage, sacrifice, and dedication of the men and women serving in every branch of the United States Armed Forces.

On this Armed Forces Day, we extend our deepest gratitude to those currently serving our nation, at home and around the world. Your resilience and willingness to stand in defense of our freedoms do not go unnoticed.

To our active duty service members, Guard, Reserve, and military families: thank you for the sacrifices you make each and every day. Because of you, our communities and our country remain strong.
