It’s the final call for the pets with the best photos on your camera roll.

Tomorrow, August 31, is the last day to submit your pet photo and get your votes in for the Irvine Animal Care Center Photo Fundraiser!

Whether your pet is a professional poser, a certified goofball, or simply very good at looking adorable while doing absolutely nothing, there’s still time to get them in the running for the 2027 wall calendar.

And, remember — every $1 vote helps support Enhanced Care, Foster Care, and Third Chance for Pets.

Clear the Shelters ends August 31 and there are only a few days left to meet our longest-resident pets with waived adoption fees.

Check kennel cards for the purple Clear the Shelters icon to find eligible pets.

Comedy Unleashed is back at the Irvine Improv Tuesday, September 15. Enjoy a night of live entertainment, dinner, an online auction, and laughs that help animals in need.

This year's show features hilarious performances from Jen Murphy, Eric Schwartz, and Cory Baumgartner.

Your pet has entered the chat. And they have opinions about being calendar-famous.

The Irvine Animal Care Center Photo Fundraiser is almost over! Submit your favorite photo for a chance to have your pet featured in the 2027 wall calendar and help support animals at the Irvine Animal Care Center. Please make sure submitted photos are high-resolution and horizontally oriented.

Once your photo is in, rally your people and get those votes coming. Every $1 vote supports Enhanced Care, Foster Care, and Third Chance for Pets.

Photos and votes are due August 31.

August 17–23, we had 3 dogs, 17 cats, 2 guinea pigs, and 1 rabbit adopted! The dogs were Mars, Ruby, and Zuko. The cats were Belle, Cali, Cloud, Fifa, Jack, Kamaole, Loki, Puma, Rain, Regina, Spice, Sugar, Toodles, Tudou, Willow, Yoyo, and Zorro. The guinea pigs were Ginny Weasley and Ms. Pickles. The rabbit was Ostara. Congratulations to everyone on your new homes!

We also had 2 cats (Nerf and Link) sent to rescue, and 5 dogs returned to their owners.

Every pet deserves a chance to find where they belong.

During August, adoption fees are waived for the Irvine Animal Care Center's longest-resident pets as part of NBCUniversal and Telemundo's nationwide Clear the Shelters campaign.

If you've been thinking about adopting, now is the perfect time to visit. Look for the purple event icon on kennel cards to identify eligible animals, learn their stories, and see if one is the perfect fit for your family.
