Irvine CERT volunteers are proud to have contributed to the efforts of Orange County CERT Mutual Aid Program (CMAP) in their support of the Garden Grove HazMat Incident.

During this activation, CMAP volunteers made a significant impact and responded with 85 volunteers over 3 days to support American Red Cross shelter operations:

- Saturday: 51 hours
- Sunday: 210 hours
- Monday: 286 hours
Total: 547 volunteer hours

CMAP at the following shelter locations:
- Freedom Hall
- Los Amigos High
- Los Alamitos High
- Kennedy High
- Savanna High
- Goldenwest College

Volunteers supported in the following roles:
- Shelter support staff helping American Red Cross (ARC)

- Pet/Animal support helping Southern California Animal Rescue Team (SCART)

- Set-up and teardown of shelter sites in partnership with ARC & Team Rubicon
