Many of our neighbors rely on South County Outreach’s food pantry to put nutritious meals on the table. By hosting a holiday food drive, you can help local families enjoy a little more comfort, joy, and peace of mind this season. 🎁

Here’s a little fact worth celebrating: Did you know that 200 households received rental or utility assistance through South County Outreach last year alone?

🏠 That’s an average of about $2,250 in assistance per household, helping prevent evictions, utility shutoffs, and displacement for nearly 500 local residents.
These timely investments can make a lasting difference—helping families stay safely housed and avoid the far greater costs and trauma that can come with homelessness.

💙 None of this is possible without our generous community of supporters.

Our homeless prevention program helps residents of Orange County stay in their homes by providing financial assistance towards a household’s rental arrears and overdue utilities, such as water, natural gas, and electricity.

South County Outreach is excited to announce a new collaborative management relationship with Someone Cares OC (formerly Someone Cares Soup Kitchen Costa Mesa) in Costa Mesa. 🍎🍲

By bringing together Someone Cares OC’s 40 years of compassionate service with SCO’s nonprofit leadership and food-assistance expertise, we can strengthen the network of support available to Orange County residents.

Because addressing challenges like hunger takes all of us. 💗
