I am honored to receive the endorsement of State Senator Tom Umberg! Having strong partners at the state-level is critical for Irvine to tackle key issues around transportation, education, and our environment. Senator Umberg has been that partner for Irvine and other cities in Orange County, helping us become a leading city in California.

I am also happy to see Senator Umberg continue his service and run to represent us on California's Board of Equalization! Tom will be a phenomenal representative and needed voice on the Board. I am proud to endorse Tom for CA Board of Equalization, District 4!

Did you know Irvine is home to the Chimac Fest happening this weekend?! Come celebrate Korean culture, from its food & beer, to its music and self-care products at the Great Park Live!

Irvine is the best place for a festival like this, given our community's diversity and connectivity. As one of the first few Korean elected officials nationwide, and the first elected in Irvine, seeing events like these being welcomed to Irvine hold a greater sense of pride and gratitude for me.

I was so happy to join our community in the opening of the Jeffrey Trail Open Space (JOST) Bicycle & Pedestrian Bridge that will serve all our residents in countless ways!

Open spaces are a hallmark of our city, defining our community's connectivity, safety, and health. Results-driven planning and community collaboration is critical in projects like these, and I am so happy to see it come to fruition. Please take time to visit the bridge (bridge entry is on Jeffrey Road at Walnut Avenue)!

🚨 Thank you to our own Irvine Police Department & Orange County Firefighters for coming out in the community for the 2026 National Night Out at the Great Park!

It was great connecting with our incredible first responders, whether our community safety officers or firefighters, who keep Irvine families safe every minute of the day. I believe events like National Night Out are important to continue the idea of public safety through community engagement and collaboration.

I enjoyed visiting the different IPD vehicles and talking with officers about new initiatives the department is trying to continue its mission of "In Partnership with Community". I also learned a tremendous amount when touring the OC Firefighters' truck and understand how specific equipment and measures are so necessary to diffuse a situation quickly.

Thank you for all that our first responders do! I was so glad to connect with many of them at Irvine's National Night Out 2026!

I had a great time attending XBN's Karaoke Night Mixer last week, which also included singing a song myself. I want to thank the audience for their warm encouragement as I tried to sing "It's Now or Never", and I also loved hearing many great singers on the mic!

Thank you to XBN for having me and hosting such an important event for our small business community to connect and support each other!

I HAVE OFFICIALLY PULLED PAPERS TO RUN FOR IRVINE CITY COUNCIL! Pulling papers at City Hall reminded me of how important the access to local government is to our democracy. I am thankful to our City Clerk's office for their work every election cycle that gives us great candidates!

As part of the process, we now have to collect signatures from the community to qualify for the ballot. If you are able to sign as a District 1 Resident, please message me to set up a time to get your signature!

Of all of my endorsements, having Irvine Educators and Education Leaders behind me is one of my proudest highlights of this campaign! I thank these Education Leaders who have done important work to serve District 1 as board members/trustees of IUSD, TUSD, and SOCCCD!

Education is one of Irvine's biggest hallmarks and educators are the backbone of building our city's next generation. District 1 is home to several IUSD & TUSD schools, as well as served by Irvine Valley College under SOCCCD. I look forward to being a champion for our schools, students, and teachers when representing Irvine's District 1!
