Amazing teamwork in action with millions of dollars saved.

In just two days, the U.S. Secret Service Houston Field Office and our partners stopped an estimated $14.5 million in losses to families and taxpayers by cracking down on illegal payment card skimming and EBT fraud.

We visited 372 locations throughout Harris County and seized 14 skimming devices, helping keep our community safe and supporting local businesses.

Teamwork makes a difference—we will continue working together to protect our communities!

363 American law enforcement members killed in the line of duty were honored during the annual Candlelight Vigil on the National Mall in Washington, DC.
Among those remembered in the Roll Call of Heroes were ten members of our Texas law enforcement family.
Their names were also added to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial.
Here at home, the U.S. Secret Service Dallas Field Office also honors them, and will never forget their service and sacrifice.

Thanks to strong investigative work and close collaboration between the Smith County Sheriff’s Office and the Tyler Resident Office of the U.S. Secret Service, an incarcerated Georgia man has been charged with stealing from a Texas woman.
The victim was targeted in a phone scam and instructed to deposit $13,000 into a Bitcoin machine in Tyler. Law enforcement traced the scam to Marcus Allen Daniels, a Georgia inmate, and recovered evidence from his illegal cellphone linking him to the theft.
This case highlights the importance of law enforcement partnerships in protecting our community from financial crimes.
