I am unable to investigate effectively anything that happens if it is not reported, or is reported well after the incident occurred.

On 04/03/2024, the Irving Police Department, along with the Witt Police Department, made a proactive traffic stop resulting in the seizure of a total of 52 Grams of Methamphetamine, 189 bars of xanax, multiple pages of acid, 93 grams of ma*****na, 10 grams of crack, suspected fentanyl, over $1200 in cash, and a .22 caliber handgun.

Hillary Kinney, of Taylorville, was arrested as part of this case for Methamphetamine possession.

More arrest(s) are expected as a result of the completion of this case.

We want to thank the Montgomery County Sheriff's office for the outstanding assistance, and the Montgomery County States Attorney's office for their prompt response.

All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Burning trash will not be tolerated. It is offensive and a nuisance to your neighbors. If nobody is available to extinguish it, offenders may receive a charge from the fire department, as well as a ordinance citation. Thank you for your cooperation.
