We never made it into the Halloween drive-thru event! Once we got to the entrance, they made us go way down to the end of the street, turn, go down some more, do a U-turn, turn again, and come back. I saw some people cutting in. And buy “some” I mean a lot. From every which way, multiple different streets, because there were no closures anywhere. By the time I realized I should have cut in, too, it was too late. We never would’ve made it in time. I feel so bad for my three-year-old daughter who was patiently sitting in her cramped car seat and was so excited to go to the event! We sat in traffic for two hours!! All for nothing. What a disappointment, and a complete wreck of an event.
Just wanted to give a shout out to the parks and rec guys for putting together a tremendous display at w.o. Harrington Park this evening . Thomas and his crew did a great job and it’s a blast to see my home course utilized in such a great way. I look forward to playing night golf again with my friends and hope the word gets out because it really was fun.
