June marks National CPR and AED Awareness Month, with June 1st-7th officially recognized as National CPR & AED Awareness Week. This nationwide initiative highlights the critical role bystanders play in saving lives, as immediate CPR can double or even triple a person's chance of survival during sudden cardiac arrest.
Over the last year, Seneca EMS has proudly hosted more than 200 CPR classes and has 13 certified CPR instructors available to serve our communities. We are committed to providing the education and training needed to empower others to act confidently in an emergency.
If we can help even one person make a difference and save a life, then our mission is worthwhile. You never know when the skills learned in a CPR class may help save a family member, friend, coworker, or neighbor. Together, we can build a safer and more prepared community. ❤️🚑

Good afternoon. At around 11:56 AM today, our crews responded to an ambulance fire at Seneca Fire Station 1. The fire was quickly brought under control, with no preliminary damage to the building and no injuries were reported. An investigation into the cause is currently underway. I want to thank the responders of Seneca Fire, Seneca EMS and our mutual aid partners for a quick response to our firehouse.

Before our crews arrive on scene, before lights and sirens are heard, it is their calm voice on the other end of the line guiding people through some of the worst moments of their lives. They bring order to chaos, provide lifesaving instructions, and ensure that help is on the way.
