Good afternoon. At around 11:56 AM today, our crews responded to an ambulance fire at Seneca Fire Station 1. The fire was quickly brought under control, with no preliminary damage to the building and no injuries were reported. An investigation into the cause is currently underway. I want to thank the responders of Seneca Fire, Seneca EMS and our mutual aid partners for a quick response to our firehouse.

This week, during National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week, we proudly recognize and thank our 911 Dispatchers—the true first first responders.

Before our crews arrive on scene, before lights and sirens are heard, it is their calm voice on the other end of the line guiding people through some of the worst moments of their lives. They bring order to chaos, provide lifesaving instructions, and ensure that help is on the way.

Seneca Fire would like express our deepest appreciation for your professionalism, dedication, and unwavering commitment to our community. Your work does not go unnoticed—we rely on you every single day, especially Evans Fire Control and Seneca Nation Dispatch.
