Rest in peace Trooper Phillips
Law enforcement is a calling that should never be taken lightly.
The men and women who put on the uniform and stand between good and evil do it because it is their calling. Not because it pays well. Not simply because it’s a job. They do it because it’s what they were put here to do.
That calling always comes at a cost—sleepless nights, constant stress, strain on families, and, unfortunately, sometimes the ultimate sacrifice.
Please never forget that the folks who spend their lives protecting our communities are not just “cops.” They are sons, daughters, mothers, fathers, spouses, friends, and so much more to the people who love them.
In a world full of criticism directed toward law enforcement, take a moment to reflect on how blessed we are to have so many qualified men and women willing to hold the line between our communities and the evil in this world.
You get to go about your day because of the individuals who work hard every day to help maintain law and order in our society.
Pray for our fallen and their families. Pray for our country. Pray for one another.
Today, we remember Trooper Phillips, who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
