More Sunday June 7th, 2026 — Well, I said I took a lot of videos! Most of the ones I took I deleted because they were not good. It’s hard to video fast-moving objects with a cell phone, but here they are none-the-less! Tell me if I am overdoing it and I will cut back on them.

REMINDER! — Our ACMA Scale Fly-in is this Saturday! Come if you can. Our Scale Fly-in is usually one of our most popular annual flying events, only outdone by our Veterans Memorial Warbird Fly-in in November.

We'll be selling lunching and raffle HobbyTown gift cards from $5.00 to $50.00. We'll also raffle an E-flite F4U-4 Corsair 1.2m PNP warbird! Check out the flier.

Bring your combat planes as Rob Baker will head up a "Combat at Noon" special event in the middle of the day!

I think the weather will cooperate, but then I am one of those the-glass-is- half-full kind of people…

Sunday, June 7th, 2026 — Nice day for flying if you pretended the wind wasn't there! It was a bit gusty, but several club members came out to fly.

Sam Chest flew his propeller-driven Yak-3 a couple of times. And Joe Rodriguez brought his Pitts biplane and an F-16 jet.

Jesse showed up with a nice Su-27 jet, painted in the blue and white colors of the Russian aerobatic team known as the Russian Knights. I think he said it was its maiden flight.

Oliver Plavy had brought a couple of planes. One was his green Yak-130 EDF jet. He likes that one very much! And a nitro-powered Escapade which he had built a smoke system for. It works, although not very visible in the wind and mostly cloudy sky. It does great on a blue-sky day! Oliver has the best-smelling airplane though. The smoke oil he uses is pure baby oil!

Rob Baker and Mike McLaughlin flew large yellow T-28s. They flew in formation and made a couple of slow side-by-side landings. Very nice to watch them in action!

Let me know if you would like more information about our club, or if you want to join. I am the person to contact.
