Please note that the start time for the next Facilities Planning Project Public Workshop has been updated.

The workshop will now be held on June 24 from 5:30–8:00 p.m. in the Main Street School Cafeteria, beginning one hour earlier than previously announced.

Thank you to everyone who continues to participate in the Village's Facilities Planning Project. Community input remains critical as we evaluate long-term facility needs, potential locations, project priorities, and funding considerations.

If you have not yet had an opportunity to participate, we encourage you to visit the online Sites & Scenarios Workshop to review project materials, explore potential concepts, and provide feedback at your convenience.

We look forward to seeing you on June 24th. For those unable to attend in person, online participation options will be available to ensure all community members have an opportunity to engage in the process.

Update to Mayor’s Message – June 3, 2026

Did I already say June was busy? Some additional fun activities happening in June that I forgot to mention in my message earlier this week:

Come out for the 7th Annual Juneteenth Freedom Day Block Party on Friday, June 19th from 4–7 PM at Scenic Hudson Park on Bridge Street. It’s going to be a great afternoon of music, dancing, double dutch, food and drinks.

Also check out additional events at the Irvington Library and Irvington Theater throughout the month of June!

And while we’re at it—good luck to the Knicks in Game 1 of the NBA Finals tonight. In honor of their first Finals appearance since 1999, check out the Village Clocktower – it will be lit blue and orange.
Let’s go Knicks!

Then enjoy a song circle led by Nick Demeris, a singer, composer, and facilitator who creates participatory music experiences. Nick has performed at Carnegie Hall and collaborated with organizations including TEDx, UNICEF, Apple, the United Nations, and Sesame Street, and has worked with artists such as Bobby McFerrin and Quiara Alegría Hudes.
