An Afternoon with David Duchovny
A Screening of Reverse the Curse

Followed by a Q&A, moderated by Alex Barron of The New York Times, and book signing with David Duchovny

Join us for a special screening of Reverse the Curse, a film written, directed, and starring David Duchovny, based on his novel Bucky F*ing Dent.

Reverse the Curse tells the story of a son’s efforts to reconcile with his sick father by orchestrating a winning streak for his beloved Boston Red Sox. It’s a film about the complexities of life, loss, hope and baseball through the lens of a father-son relationship.

Following the screening, there will be a Q&A moderated by journalist Alex Barron, as well as a book signing with David Duchovny. Books will be available to purchase in advance or at the event, provided by Transom Bookshop.

Join us tonight at 6:30 PM at the Matthiessen Park Stage for another unforgettable performance in the Jazz Forum Arts Summer Concert Series. Experience the vibrant sounds of Brazilian music with acclaimed vocalist and guitarist Giulia Coba.

Born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil, and now based in New Orleans, Giulia Coba brings a rich blend of musical traditions to the stage. Her performances weave together samba, bossa nova, ijexá, funk, and jazz into deeply personal, playful storytelling. Through her original compositions, Giulia takes audiences on a journey of self-discovery, celebrating the wonder and spirit of the inner child.

CALL FOR ARTISTS – Rivertowns Pumpkin Trail

The application deadline for the inaugural Rivertowns Pumpkin Trail painted sculpture gallery has been extended to August 7.

We're inviting artists to bring 2-foot pumpkin sculptures to life for a new outdoor public art exhibit throughout Irvington, Sleepy Hollow, Tarrytown, Dobbs Ferry, and Ardsley.

Whether your work is whimsical, elegant, spooky, traditional, abstract, or somewhere in between, we'd love to see your approach. Artists receive 30% of the final auction sale price, and completed pumpkins will be displayed throughout the Rivertowns during one of the Hudson Valley's most visited seasons.

If you've been thinking about applying, now's the perfect time.

Applications close August 7.
