Woodbridge Remembers Chief John Careccia

This has been a difficult month for the members of our squad as we lost our Chief, John Careccia to COVID-19 as a LODD. Yesterday we gave John a fitting farewell/last call ceremony at our squad headquarters along with his family. We would like to thank everyone that aided us to make this a successful ceremony. It was amazing to see so many first responders come out to say ‘goodbye’ and support us. We are very humbled by the support of community and the first responders throughout the state. The links below are of the ceremony.

Yesterday was a very sad day for our Organization. Long-time Life member, Mike Bradley, passed away after fighting a long, brave battle from cancer. We take comfort in knowing that Mike is now pain and cancer-free and resting in the arms of the Lord. We now have a special Angel watching over all of us. He will be truly missed but as long as we hold onto the happy memories that we’ve all shared with Mike (and there have been many and many ), he will be alive in our hearts and in our minds and will continue to live on through us.

Our hearts and prayers go out to Mike’s family.

Hi! I'm reaching out because my company, C2 Imaging/Vomela Companies - normally a print production company based out of Jersey City, has repurposed our print materials and production facility to mass produce face shields for front line workers. We're currently in the process of producing thousands of them for the NYPD as well as many other police departments/healthcare facilities or any essential worker in the tristate area. As a born and raised Monmouth County resident, I wanted to reach out to all of our local essential workers to see if you guys are in need of these! PPE Face Shields: These are intended to block airborne droplets/protect the users face from contamination. We are currently providing these to EMS and Hospitals, but they can be used by anyone. One size fits all and they can be cleaned with alcohol. I can send over samples of the face shields for you to test out. They're $5/each with flexible pricing for large quantities, as of right now we can produce about 8,000-10,000 face shields per day! Not sure the correct person to contact, but I figured I would reach out on here to try to get the message across to everyone! I'm here to help however I can! Feel free to share my contact info with whoever! Kelsey Smith Call/text (732)245-7990 [email protected] Thank you & please stay healthy!
