Blue Star Family Support Group - Legion Post 471 The Blue Star Family Support Group is for families with loved ones actively serving in the military to connect and lend support to one another.

Blue Star Families are, simply, families with loved ones serving in the armed forces. The Blue Star Family Support Group is here to provide a support group made up of parents and loved ones of those young folks that are serving. Beyond that we also do things to support those that are serving. Things such as mailings of useful products, cookies and cards from school children. Gift boxes to those r

eturning from deployments. The contents of the boxes come from numerous local businesses and are often made up of gift cards to restaurants, haircuts, bowling allies and movie theaters to name a few. We also provide grant money to graduating high school seniors that are choosing to enter the military after graduation. The group participates at the Woodbridge Township Rally to Support the Troops and the St James Street Fair.
