We are seeking assistance with identifying the person depicted in the attached photographs. This is in reference to a breaking and entering complaint. This incident occurred in the early morning hours of 08/28/2026 at CCI Research Laboratory on Division St.

Another wonderful Books & Badges event this past Saturday at the Ishpeming Carnegie Public Library. It was a pajama party and even Chief Radabaugh and Children's Librarian Heather came dressed for it. Thank you to everyone who came out and spent the afternoon with us.

We had a wonderful turn out yesterday at the Ishpeming Carnegie Public Library during their preschool dinosaur event. With the help of the Books and Badges program Chief Chad Radabaugh handed out over 130 books to kids. Chief Chad Radabaugh also handed out over 150 stuffed animals. The stuffed animals were made possible from donations of citizens within our community.

UPDATE: 6/24/26 at 11:14pm all operations are back to normal at City Hall and DPW.

Due to a power surge the City of Ishpeming's City Hall and DPW have no phones or internet capability at this time. If you are looking to make a payment at City Hall, they are not able to access your account, so they ask that you bring in your billing statement with you. We appreciate your patience while the issue is being worked on.

The phones at the Police Department are up and working.

Pursuant to The Federal Fi****ms statues, The Michigan Compiled Laws Fi****ms Chapter, and the City of Ishpeming Code of Ordinances, The City of Ishpeming Police Department intends to dispose of the listed fi****ms. If an owner of a listed firearm wishes to file a claim for a listed firearm, the claim must be filed within a 30-day period of this posting. In addition to the claim, you must be authorized to possess fi****ms. In order to make a claim for a listed firearm you must contact Detective Sergeant Nylander at (906)486-4416.

If no valid ownership claim is received within thirty (30) days of the date of public notice, the fi****ms listed will be disposed of.

Fi****ms listed are not for sale.
