The Village of Island Park is 100!

I was so thankful to join friends, neighbors and family as we opened the time capsule buried during America’s Bicentennial in 1976.

It was an emotional day filled with memories of the incredible Island Parkers whose hard work, resilience and strength built the Village we love.

We also buried a new time capsule, and I was honored to place a few meaningful items inside. I pray I’m here in 2076 to open it once again.

First-term Democratic Rep. Laura Gillen falsely accused Republican nominee Jeanine Driscoll of backing a $42 million tax hike in the Town of Hempstead in mailers sent to voters, her opponent said.

Since we kicked it off 12 years ago, the Peter's Clam Bar has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars, shucked tens of thousands of clams for a cause, and supported local charities.

This year was no different. I’m grateful to have joined Hempstead Town Supervisor John Ferretti, Hon. Chief Butch Yamali, and the Island Park Volunteer Fire Department in hosting this year’s event.

Congratulations to the winners, who devoured nearly 2,000 clams in support of the Lindsey Rose Parke Foundation.

Lying Laura Gillen must be very nervous. And she should be. She is going to lose her seat on November 3.

Gillen has accomplished nothing during her time in Congress.

She has repeatedly lied about funding she voted against for NY-4 communities.

She takes credit for work she did not do.

She sends out mailers which intentionally contain false statements.

Let’s be clear the Receiver of Taxes
does not vote with the Town Board on the budget or anything else.

When you have nothing to run on I guess you resort to dishonestly and lies. Have you no shame?

NY-4 residents deserve better. Get your resume together Laura, we are sending you packing on Election Day.😊🇺🇸✔️

A great opportunity for Nassau’s 71 fire departments to come together and celebrate our deep history, proud service and rich traditions.

Great to see so many neighbors lining the streets—celebrating America’s 250th and saluting Nassau’s Bravest!

Laura Gillen walked into the Floral Park Fire Department yesterday and brazenly took credit for funding that she voted AGAINST. This is not the first time she has done this. She routinely votes to protect her own interests not those of her constituents.
Floral Park FD ultimately received the funding because the Republicans in Congress voted YES.

Gillen is shameless.
Vote her out.
