Happy Labor Day Weekend from Islip Public Library!

We wish everyone in our community a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable Labor Day weekend!

Please note that Islip Public Library will be closed on Monday, September 7 in observance of Labor Day. We will reopen and resume normal Library hours on Tuesday, September 8.

We also want to give our patrons advance notice of an upcoming change to our schedule.

📚 Temporary Hours Beginning September 14

Due to renovations of three public restrooms, the Library will have temporary, irregular hours beginning Monday, September 14:

📌 Monday, September 14 through Thursday, September 17
🕔 Open 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM

📌 Friday, September 18 through Sunday, September 20
🔒 CLOSED

📌 Monday, September 21 through Thursday, September 24
🕒 Open 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM

📌 Friday, September 25
🔒 CLOSED
