This Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

We were also proud to recognize and celebrate Claude Byer for his military service during the Vietnam Era, his decades of dedication to education and coaching, and his lasting impact on the Central Islip community.

Thank you to all of our veterans and service members for your courage, sacrifice, and commitment to our nation. ❤️🤍

An unforgettable night at the Battle of the Businesses Bowling Night with some from the Town Clerk’s office 🎳❤️

The competition may have been friendly, but the memories made were real. It was amazing seeing so many local businesses and members of the community come together for one last night at East Islip Lanes before saying goodbye to such a longtime local favorite.

From cheering each other on to laughing through every gutter ball, this night was about so much more than bowling. Thank you to everyone who helped make the evening so special.

The alley may be closing, but the memories made here will last a lifetime. ✨

I was officially sworn in as the NYSTCA (New York Town Clerks Association) District One Director.

I am incredibly honored and grateful for the opportunity to serve in this role and represent such an amazing group. I look forward to continuing to collaborate, grow, and advocate alongside so many dedicated individuals across New York State.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me throughout this journey. I am truly excited for what’s ahead. 🤍

A great kickoff to Suffolk County’s 250th Anniversary at the H. Lee Dennison Building in Hauppauge 🇺🇸

It was wonderful to see people come together to learn, reflect, and celebrate our history. From the American Revolution Experience Traveling Exhibit to conversations with our Town historians, this is just the beginning of an exciting year ahead.

We hope to see everyone at the upcoming events!

Today, March 29, 2026, we recognize National Vietnam War Veterans Day and honor the brave men and women who served our country during the Vietnam War.🇺🇸

This week, the Town of Islip gathered at the Vietnam Memorial Garden to pay tribute to our Vietnam Veterans and offer a long overdue “welcome home.” Veterans were honored with a special pin presentation in recognition of their service and sacrifice.

We are grateful for their courage, resilience, and the sacrifices made—not only by those who served, but by their families as well.

Thank you to all Vietnam Veterans. Your service will never be forgotten. 🇺🇸

I had a wonderful time visiting Wing Elementary School for Community Reader Day as part of their PARP (Pick a Reading Partner) program!📚

The students and I had so much fun reading “Mr. Brown Can Moo! Can You?” by Dr. Seuss together they were incredible with all the sound effects! 🐄📣 Thank you to the wonderful teachers, staff, and students at Wing Elementary for the warm welcome and for continuing to inspire a love of reading.
