‼️ Students with parents who are at school are being released in stages. Other students are at BASC (Before and After School Care).

Students who usually walk home alone are in a central location inside the school with staff. We ask that you or someone on your child's emergency contact list please come to school to pick your student up.

‼️ATTENTION GRAND RIDGE PARENTS

Dear Grand Ridge families,

We received a report that a bear was seen near campus. We are holding students in the school and delaying dismissal.

🎉Congratulations to Kathryn Pilapil, our April PTSA Volunteer of the Month!

Kat is not only a tremendous classroom volunteer, but was instrumental in getting the art projects set up and displayed for our April Science Fair. Always willing to help out at events and around the school, Kat is one of the many faces who make our school GRAND

We are proud to share that Grand Ridge Elementary has been recognized by the Washington School Recognition Program for its outstanding performance during the 2024–2025 school year! 🎉

This is an incredible honor, as only 16% of schools across Washington State received this recognition this year.

This achievement reflects the hard work and dedication of our students, teachers, staff, and families. Together, we’ve made meaningful strides in closing gaps and supporting strong growth and achievement for all students.

🌟 Exciting discussions happening in the Grand Ridge community!

🎨 Several of us gathered with other Issaquah community members to tackle the future of art in our schools. While our school does better than some within the Issaquah School District, we know we can achieve so much more with a dedicated art teacher and a solid art curriculum. We're advocating for equity in arts education across ISD, pushing for certified art teachers, classrooms, and meeting legislative requirements for our students’ art education. Let’s elevate the arts together!
