Cornell Alternative Breaks At the Heart of Service Lies Community Alternative Breaks is a student led program of the Cornell Public Service Center.

Participants have the opportunity to learn, serve, & grow when they embark on drug-free and alcohol-free service learning oriented trips over Spring Break. Do you have a passion for service and community interaction? Want to learn more about social justice issues? Then join one of our amazing teams that will spend Spring Break tackling various social justice issues such as urban poverty, hunger, i

nadequate housing, domestic violence, homelessness, civil rights, HIV/AIDS, at-risk youth, and environmental justice. Trip sites include New York City, Washington D.C., Cape Cod, Lake Placid, Orlando and rural West Virginia. Note: You MUST attend one of the info sessions (coming up in October) in order to be eligible to apply for the program.
