Our librarians love to help researchers find info they need. And when we get thanked, it’s icing on the cake.
But, recently, our librarians at Library got a literal sweet note of appreciation.
Cornell University ILR School master’s student Alejandra Quintero baked flan for librarians Jim DelRosso and others who’ve helped her in her research on non-profit organizations involved in helping migrant workers.
Alejandra recalls one research session among many: “We were trying to get some information from the National Labor Relations Board data and, at that point, he asked one of his colleagues for support. So there was a moment with him on his computer with two monitors, I’m on my laptop, and his colleague had her laptop, and we were all just trying to find this information. It just reminded me of the power the collective and how nothing that we ever do or accomplish is ever done alone.”
If you need any help with research, just ask our librarians. No flan required! We just love to help. library.cornell.edu/ask
