Today, we honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Their courage, dedication, and selflessness will never be forgotten.

This Memorial Day, we pause to reflect on the freedoms we enjoy because of those who gave everything in defense of our nation. We also extend our gratitude to the families who carry their legacy forward each day.

From all of us at Gratiot County Department of Veterans Affairs, we remember, we honor, and we thank our fallen heroes.

This monthly gathering is our way of saying thank you—a time to connect, share stories, and enjoy a warm meal together at the Heroes Center.
