Cornell University Emergency Medical Service (CUEMS) strives to provide professional, efficient, and effective first response basic life support care to the entire Cornell community. Serving Cornell students, graduate students, faculty, staff, visitors, and their children and families, CUEMS responds to all 911 calls for medical assistance and evaluation twenty-four hours per day, seven days per

week during the academic year. CUEMS provides extensive, weekly training to all squad members trained as emergency medical technicians. Moreover, CUEMS offers training to the entire Cornell community in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR), automated external defibrillation (AED), calling 911, alcohol emergencies, and basic emergency care. Working together with emergency services from all of Cornell and Tompkins County, CUEMS provides a valuable resource available to the Cornell campus and much of the surrounding Tompkins County community.

Cornell University EMS is pleased to provide FREE certification courses in CPR/AED and Basic First Aid to the entire Cornell community every Saturday and Sunday morning for the remainder of the semester in the East Hill Office Building (EHOB).

For a complete listing and to register for upcoming classes, visit CULearn at https://culearn.cornell.edu/, sign in with you NetID, and search for EHS 5350 AED/CPR, or EHS 5360 First Aid, and choose a class that works best for you.

If you are interested in scheduling a separate course for your group organization, visit the Community Education section on our website at https://cuems.cornell.edu/community-education/ for our course request form.

Want to be as good at CPR as Touchdown the Bear? We can help!

Cornell EMS is pleased to provide FREE certification courses in CPR/AED and Basic First Aid to the Cornell community every Saturday morning this semester at our office by the Vet School.

For a complete listing of upcoming classes, and to register for classes, visit CULearn at https://culearn.cornell.edu/. When you sign in with your NetID, search for "EHS 5350 AED/CPR" or "EHS 5360 First Aid" and from there you can enroll in a day that works best for your schedule.
