A food system that feeds everyone.

GreenStar Community Projects was established in 2007 by GreenStar Coop with the mission of collaboratively building a community food system that nourishes everyone.

GSCP engages in this work through interconnected projects that effectively share skills, knowledge and resources to end hunger with the communities of Tompkins County.

  • The Childhood Nutrition Collaborative aligns cross-sector individuals and organizations addressing hunger under a shared work plan that reshapes the local food system so all children get daily nourishment.

  • Local Food Network sessions have brought together over 170 food-related organizations and more than 800 individuals fostering collaborative approaches to end hunger & protect the earth.
