The CALS Global Fellows Program supports CALS undergraduate students in pursuit of professionally-focused summer internships that enhance their career goals, while enriching their undergraduate experience with diverse cultural and international immersion. The program provides professional development, logistical, and financial support. Acceptance to the program is highly competitive and has a limited number of spaces each year.

The CALS Global Fellows Program is accepting applications for a summer internship in India with the Sehgal Foundation. Stipend and Travel Expenses are covered. Deadline is Jan 26 however filled on a rolling basis. See link in Bio for more info.

Multiple positions are available for multiple CALS Majors. Open to any undergraduate CALS student returning for Fall 2025.

Projects include:
* Assessment of the economic impact of kitchen Garden on the livelihoods of women in rural area
* Comparative study of different waste water treatment and reuse systems suitable for rural areas
* Assessment and development of business plan for oil extraction unit operated by women
* Viability assessment of custom hiring center managed by women group
* Assessing the Impact of Desiltation on Community Development and Agriculture and ways to improve the participation of women in water management interventions
* Assessing the Impact of Agriculture development interventions on empowerment and capacity building of women farmers
* Documenting Innovative Water management interventions being implemented by NGOs, CSR companies, government department and others
* Scoping of digital Agri innovations in rural regions of India
