The 2025 annual progress report for the Ithaca 2030 District is out, and we're pleased to share the news that the District realized overall energy savings of 33.3% from the baseline last year and used 58.5% less water compared to the baseline.

This past August Tropical Storm Debby's remnants caused flash flooding and widespread damage in the Finger Lakes. These events altogether caused over $1 billion in damages in New York in 2024. With the Trump administration taking office on January 20, it's become clear that efforts to stave off runaway climate change will have to focus on state and local policy.
