The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Watch for Tishomingo County until 5:00 AM.

⚠️ Be prepared NOW:

Identify your safe place (storm shelter, basement, or small interior room on the lowest floor)
Keep your phone charged and weather alerts ON
Have shoes, flashlight, and essentials ready

⚠️ If you live in a mobile home, you should plan to go to a sturdier structure before storms arrive.

The NWS has issued a Red Flag warning for Tishomingo county for SATURDAY from 11am-7pm.

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can
contribute to wildfires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning should not
be attempted.
