It is with great sadness that we mourn the lose of a former member and great supporter of the Ivor Volunteer Rescue Squad Narvie F Britt, Jr. Frankie was a member for 32 years from 1980-2012 and was Captain for 4 years from 1986-1989. He will be truly missed in the community. Our hearts go out to the members of the Ivor Volunteer Fire Department and the Britt Family.

We are excited to announce a new addition to our fleet!! This will help us better serve our community and surrounding areas.

Congratulations to the Ivor Volunteer Rescue Squad (Southampton County, VA) on their recent order for a new Road Rescue Ultramedic Type 1 ambulance. This will be Ivor’s second Road Rescue ambulance, joining a 2013 Ultramedic. Ivor’s new Unit 63 will ride on a 2022 Dodge 5500 4x4 chassis and will include many nice features including a forward facing HiViz LED Lighting package. Thank you for your continued business!

The Catfish dinner for April 1st has been postponed. All tickets already purchased will be honored at the June dinner. Date for June is TBD. Thank you everyone for your continued support.

Everyone mark your calendars and come out and support. We are having a takeout only dinner Wednesday, May 15th from 5-7 pm. Dinner will include fried catfish, baked beans, coleslaw, and hush puppies. $10 donation Please see any member of board member for tickets.

Ivor Community Day has been rescheduled for next Saturday October 27th due to rain. We will be running the event on the same schedule.

We will be selling reflective 911 signs this Saturday at community day. They aid us in being able to locate your house easily. Please come by and get yours. $20 donation per sign all proceeds go to the Squad.
