Per Jefferson County WI Parks:

"We are so close and nearing the end of the contractors work on Phase III of the Watertown/ Oconomowoc Interurban Trail.

Please note that the trail between Hwy F (Ixonia) and the County line is closed, and we continue to ask everyone to wait until the project is complete before using it.

If you are on the trail, that likely means that you are interfering with the contractors ability to work, and thus the project takes longer.
It will be ready soon - we promise!"

RECYLCE your appliances & electronics on Saturday, June 13 (8-11 a.m.) at the Lake Mills Light & Water Department (155 Industrial Dr, Lake Mills).

Households only! No registration required. First come, first served. Depending on turnout, gates may close earlier than 11 a.m. $10 per vehicle (cash only).

The Town of Ixonia, Wisconsin is seeking a detail-oriented, hardworking individual to join our full-time Highway Department team. Every workday is different and if you are ready to apply your work experience to a variety of responsibilities then this is the position for you. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the maintenance of roads, forestry, snow plowing, vehicle and equipment operations, buildings and facilities, and general maintenance for the Town of Ixonia.

Pay depends on qualifications, with an excellent benefit package, including health insurance, participation in Wisconsin Retirement System and paid time off and much more.

Hours of operation are from 6:30 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Thursday and 6:30 am to 10:30 am on Fridays.
