If you find yourself in the middle of a choking incident, knowing what to do and acting fast could save a life.

Signs to look for in a choking victim:
- Weak or no cough
- High-pitched squeaking noises or no sound
- Pale or blue skin color
- Unable to cough, speak, or cry
- Panicked, confused, or surprised appearance
- Holding throat with hand(s)

EMS Week is upon us once again! We want to thank all emergency medical personnel for the selfless acts and efficient help they provide in life-altering emergencies. In honor of EMS week, we want our followers to know that if they find themselves in a life-threatening situation, they can be the help until help arrives. 🚑

This Save a Life flowchart from stopthebleed.org will help you control bleeding after an injury. Always call 9-1-1 first in an event such as this and remember these steps if you ever find yourself in the middle of an uncontrolled bleeding emergency.

Teaching your pr***en or teenager how to mow the grass this spring? 🌞 Let's go over some important rules when teaching kids to mow the lawn! 🌿

- A child should be 12 or older to operate a push mower.
- A child should be 16 or older to operate a riding mower.
- Never allow a child of any age to ride passenger in a riding mower.
- Make sure that younger children are indoors or at a safe distance, well away from the area that you plan to mow.
