How would this affect you and your neighbors if Meijer's or Kroger closed down here? Do you know people who work at these stores and do you think they need or deserve extra pay during the pandemic?

The grocery store chain has shuttered several stores when local municipalities demanded that workers get extra pay during COVID.

This is one of the defining issues right now with the lack of financial support for struggling families during the Pandemic... In a country where we have enough empty homes to house every homeless person, homelessness is unacceptable. Kicking people out of their homes, in the winter, for not being able to pay rent/mortgage when they have been laid off due to a Pandemic is unacceptable.
