🇺🇸✈️ Congratulations to the Liberty Technology High School AFJROTC Cadet Corps on officially being selected to receive the prestigious Distinguished Unit Award (DUA) with Merit! 🎉🏅

This incredible honor was awarded to only 146 out of 812 AF/SF JROTC units worldwide 🌎 — placing Liberty Tech among the top-performing programs in the nation! Even more impressive, less than 20% of all units nationwide earned this distinction this school year, and only THREE units in Tennessee received this recognition! 👏🔥

This achievement reflects the outstanding results from our annual inspection in April, along with more than 1,350 hours of community service completed by our cadets this past year ❤️🤝

All cadets are authorized to proudly wear the DUA with Merit ribbon 🎖️
We could not be more proud of our cadets for their exceptional leadership, selfless service, dedication, and commitment to both our school and community. Your hard work continues to set the standard for excellence! 💙🦅

🎉 HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to Liberty Tech High School’s Sheniyah Artis for being named the American Legion District 8 2026 Oratorical Competition – 2nd Round Winner! 🇺🇸🏆

Sheniyah continues to represent Liberty Tech with excellence! She first won the Post 12 American Legion Oratorical Competition (1st Round) and has now claimed victory in the District 8 Competition (2nd Round).

🤖🎉 What a FANTASTIC day for Liberty Technology High School Air Force JROTC! 🎉🤖
Our cadets competed in their very first robotics tournament at the Jackson-Madison County Schools Malesus STEM Center, and they absolutely rose to the challenge! 💪🚀 Through VEX Robotics, cadets showcased incredible teamwork, problem-solving, critical thinking, and conflict-resolution skills.
We are beyond proud of everything accomplished so far this year and the dedication shown by our cadets. 👏🇺🇸
Way to go, cadets—and a huge shout-out to MSgt Escobedo for outstanding leadership! ⭐👏

🎄🔔 So proud of our Liberty Tech High School Air Force JROTC cadets! 🔔🎄

Our cadets kicked off winter break by giving back—ringing bells for the Salvation Army at Hobby Lobby and Walmart and helping collect donations for families in need across Madison County. ❤️

With big smiles, cheerful spirits, and plenty of heartfelt “Thank you” and “Merry Christmas,” they truly spread the joy of the season to everyone who dropped a gift into the red kettle. 🌟

Both teams crushed their Level 1 online competition this week, and we couldn’t be more proud of the hard work, dedication, and determination these cadets showed! 💪📚✨

JLAB is a prestigious national academic “Knowledge Bowl” created for JROTC cadets by the College Options Foundation. This competition puts leadership and academic skills to the test as teams go head-to-head with others from across the country! 🇺🇸🧠🔥
