How to upcycle orange peels and save money while you’re at it! 🍊🤩

Orange peels have so many benefits, I keep finding new ways to recycle/repurpose them. It’s truly a wonderful fruit.. so try to make a citrus spray next time you finish eating an orange! 🙌

Video transcription:
-Did you know if you grab some orange peels..
-Put them in a jar..
-Then fill it up with some vinegar.
-Close it, and place it somewhere dark for 2 weeks..

-Then grab a spray bottle..
-And strain this orangy vinegar into it..

-What’s gonna happen is that the peels are going to infuse with the vinegar..
-creating this yellow, sweet smelling, natural, recycled cleaning spray!

-This thing is awesome!
-without any chemicals, It lifts up dirt from surfaces while leaving a shine!

-Orange peels produce a natural oil..
-Called D-limonene..
-It’s used it many Cleaning products..

-The peels also have anti-bacterial properties..
-and combining that with the power of vinegar..
-Boom!
-You got a powerful citrus cleaner!

-Use it on glass..
-Counter tops..no problem
-Stove tops.. boom!
-Toilet.. Sinks.. Faucets..
-Literally everything..
-Even floors..

So don’t throw out orange peels!

One of the families attending is that of Dustin Michael Christensen. As we approach the two year mark of him missing, this family has been a part of a grueling search. I am looking forward to hearing some of his moms story and struggles at the Tuesday event. Dustin was just 38 and was last seen in Seminole on May 14, 2022. Please continue to share his flyer and help his family find him.
