🚫 Do NOT shoot at or near fiber lines, power lines, poles, or other utility equipment.

A single bullet can cause serious damage, interrupt internet service, and leave customers without connectivity while our crews work to make repairs.

Help us keep our communities connected!

Yesterday BEAM met with Central Mississippi Planning and Development District and East Central Planning and Development District, Inc. to discuss the importance of coordination between service providers and local governments to insure BEAD projects will completed as quickly and as smoothly as possible.

Thank you to the PDDs for hosting us, for the government officials and internet providers who attended! BEAM is looking forward to meeting with the rest of the PDDs across the state later this month as we prepare for BEAD projects to begin!

Yesterday, BEAM had the opportunity to speak at the Mississippi Association of Supervisors Annual Convention. A GREAT crowd of folks was present to learn more about upcoming broadband expansion!

The Mississippi chapter of the South Central Arc User Group(MSSCAUG) and the Mississippi Association for Spatial Technologies (MAST) invited BEAM to speak at the combined GIS User Group Meeting in Jackson today.

Folks from a variety or organizations were invited to speak about utilizing Arc GIS for utility infrastructure management, including BEAM Deputy Director Kyle Brown and Grants Manager Angel Stenmark.
