The Jackson County Probate & Juvenile Courts will reopen at 8:00 a.m. tomorrow January 27, 2026. However, all court hearings scheduled PRIOR to 10 a.m. will be heard at 10 a.m. All hearings scheduled AT or AFTER 10 a.m. will be heard as originally scheduled. If you have questions, please feel free to call the court after 8:00 a.m. tomorrow morning at 740.286.6405.

Based on the most recent assessment from the Sheriff’s Office indicating a Level 3 snow emergency will continue through tomorrow at 8 a.m., the Probate & Juvenile Courts will be CLOSED Monday January 26, 2026. All scheduled hearings will be rescheduled.

Update: We will open at 12:00 noon. Thank you for your understanding.

The Jackson County Probate & Juvenile Courts will be CLOSED January 22 through AT LEAST 12:00 P.M. due to a Level 3 snow emergency. However, if the Level 3 is modified prior to 11 a.m., the Probate & Juvenile Courts will open for business at 12:00 noon. If the Level 3 remains in place at 11 a.m., the Courts will be closed for the entirety of the day. Thank you for your understanding.
