The Missouri Governor announced today that Amendment 4 will appear on our primary ballots on August 4, 2026. Amendment 4 would require a majority in EVERY congressional district to pass amendments brought by the people of Missouri — but the amendments brought by the politicians would follow the old rules and could pass with a simple statewide majority.

Politicians wrote it. Politicians exempted themselves from it.

What does this mean for the Respect Missouri Voters Amendment? We MUST defeat Amendment 4 in August to clear our path to win in November, and we need resources to help us do that.

That means we’ll need funding AND volunteers to launch our canvassing campaign on June 13.

Help us get this done! Sign up to volunteer and make a donation today!

Gov. Mike Kehoe moved Missouri's income tax overhaul and initiative petition limits to the Aug. 4 primary ballot, alongside parks and assessor measures.

Its official! Missourians will get to again say NO to abortion bans on November 3rd, 2026! Vote NO on Amendment 3! AAM Statement below:

Statement from Karissa Anderson Whitted, AAM Board President: “Ever since Missourians voted to stop the last abortion ban, politicians have pulled every trick out of their bag to try to overturn our votes, repeal our Right to Reproductive Freedom, and ban abortion again.

Missourians from all across the state and across the political spectrum worked hard to collect more than 380,000 signatures, knock hundreds of thousands of doors, and earn 1.5 million votes in 2024 to legalize abortion––politicians shouldn’t get to overturn the work and the votes of the people just because they don’t like what we decided.

This is the Show Me State––and we will show those politicians that no means no when we stop another abortion ban at the ballot box. We’ll see them in November when we Vote NO on 3.

People looking for accurate information about access to and support for abortion care right now can find it at INeedAnA.com and ReproLegalHelpline.org.”

While families across Southeast Missouri are worried about healthcare costs, rising prices, and economic uncertainty, politicians in Washington are focused on luxury projects and billionaire priorities.

Tim Palmer believes leadership should start with the people actually working, raising families, paying rent, and trying to get ahead — not political vanity projects or wealthy insiders.

District 147 deserves a representative who understands everyday struggles in Cape Girardeau and fights for:
✅ Affordable healthcare
✅ Strong public schools
✅ Better wages and good jobs
✅ Infrastructure and local investment
✅ Accountability from elected officials

This campaign is about putting working people first again. If you’re tired of politics feeling disconnected from real life, join us.

📍 Volunteer • Donate • Spread the word
Together, we can build a government that works for regular people — not just the wealthy and well-connected.

Hey, gang! This is a relatively quiet week as far as Indivisible SEMO activity goes. Quiet before the storm perhaps. This is a good week to call your representatives. Our state congress critters should be walking among us since the legislative session is over. If you see them out and about, say "hello" and grill them about...gerrymandering, abortion rights, overturning our vote again, Tax Hike Mike's income tax elimination scheme, ad nauseum.

Have a good week!
