Tuesday, June 9 -- If the weather will cooperate, we will have crews working in these locations today:

Estill -- KY 1705 between MP 0-1.

Lee -- Watch for mowing on KY 1411, KY 2016, and KY 3150.

Magoffin -- KY 542 between MP 1-2.

Morgan -- Watch for mowing on KY 134, KY 191, KY 772, and KY 2498.

Menifee -- KY 1274 between MP 0-5. Watch for mowing on US 460 between MP 5-12.

Owsley -- KY 577 between MP 0-1.

Powell -- Watch for debris pickup on the Mountain Parkway between MP 12-36 and mowing on KY 11 between MP 4-16.

KY 364 in Morgan County remains closed at MP 6.5 in Morgan County due to a large break in pavement. The road will be closed indefinitely until repairs can be made. Barricades are in place to warn drivers of the closure. It is illegal for drivers to move barricades or drive around them. Plans are being made to bring our soil nail contractor on site to repair the damage and reopen the road. Until then, drivers should not use this section of roadway and should detour. Motorists should detour via KY 3333, KY 1081, and US 460 to detour around the closure.

The KY 15 paving project between the Breathitt County line and Campton in Wolfe County is continuing. The final striping is not yet in place. Thermoplastic pavement markings will be applied in the project's final stages, including passing zones where applicable, and a centerline rumble strip will be installed as well. The resulting route will have a centerline buffer between the lanes that is four feet wide, which is a safety enhancement intended to reduce the risk of head-on collisions. Drivers are urged to continue using caution while the contractors finish the project.

Monday, June 8 -- Delays will be possible in these locations today for road repairs:

Breathitt -- KY 394 at MP 1.5 and KY 1812 at MP 7. Watch for mowing on KY 30 east.

Estill -- Watch for mowing on KY 794 and KY 1705,

Lee -- KY 587 between MP 0-9. Watch for mowing on KY 52 , KY 498, KY 1144, and KY 2016.

Magoffin -- KY 542 between MP 1-2.

Morgan -- US 460 between MP 19-20 and KY 364 between MP 6.3-6.9. Watch for mowing on KY 191 and pothole patching on KY 519.

Owsley -- KY 577 between MP 1-2.

Perry -- KY 15 between MP 9-10. Watch for mowing on various routes.

Powell -- Mountain Parkway between MP 31-32. Watch for mowing on KY 11 between MP 4-16.

Friday, June 5 -- Watch for delays in these locations today:

Lee -- Watch for mowing on KY 52 east, KY 498, and KY 1144.

Morgan -- Watch for brush removal on US 460 and mowing on KY 772 and KY 3345.

Perry -- KY 15 between MP 9-10.

Powell -- KY 3528 between MP 0-1. Watch for mowing on KY 11 between MP 3-16.

Thursday, June 4 -- We have road crews working in these locations today, where drivers may encounter delays:

Lee -- KY 52 between MP 15-16. Watch for mowing on KY 52 east and KY 2017.

Breathitt -- KY 378 between MP 1-2.

Magoffin -- KY 542 between MP 1-2.

Perry -- KY 15 between MP 9-10.

Powell -- KY 11 between MP 7-9 and KY 213 between MP 9-10. Watch for mowing on KY 615 between MP 4-9.

Beginning this afternoon, the right-turn lane from Jetts Drive (KY 3232) to KY 15 in Jackson will be closed. All traffic leaving Jetts Drive either turning left or right onto KY 15 or going straight through the traffic signal into Clair's Trailer Court will do so from a single lane. This traffic pattern change will be in effect for several weeks. The contractor hopes to restore the right turn lane by the time school resumes later this year.

Paving is scheduled tomorrow on KY 550 (Combs Road) in the Airport Gardens section of Hazard between MP 1.0-1.5. Drivers should expect delays in this area.
