To celebrate the upcoming Fourth of July and show their love for America, Williamsburg Methodist Church of Collins donated 170 hand-sewn pillowcases with U.S. flag prints to every resident at our Mississippi Veterans Home in Collins.

We are very grateful to Williamsburg Methodist for honoring America’s heroes with this thoughtful gesture!

On this day in 1944, over 150,000 American soldiers and other Allied Forces stormed over 50 miles of Normandy's beaches in what came to be known as "D-Day." The battle proved to be a critical turning point in World War II.
