Recently, residents of our Mississippi Veterans Home in Tradition visited the Maritime & Seafood Industry Museum in Biloxi. They saw exhibits on sh*****ng, oysters, recreational fishing, wetlands, boat building, net-making, and more.

Today, our non-profit partner, Friends of Mississippi Veterans (FOMV), donated a new passenger van to our Veterans Home in Tradition.

FOMV Board Chairman Durr Boyles and Board Member Patrick Coleman presented the keys to our Gulf Coast team and MSVA Board Member John “Hoss” Ladner.

We appreciate FOMV’s ongoing support of our agency and, most importantly, Mississippi’s Veterans.

Mississippi Veterans Affairs would like to thank the American Legion - Post 52 for its donation of over $12,000 to our Mississippi Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Kilmichael.

The funds will be used to help care for grounds, facilities and equipment used to maintain the level of excellence in honoring our resting heroes.
