🗑️ CURB IT, DON’T DUMP IT!

Keeping Jackson clean takes all of us. Our Public Works Solid Waste Division has provided clear guidelines to make curbside collection easier and help our crews serve residents safely and efficiently.

Remember to place household garbage, bulk items, limbs, and properly prepared yard waste at the curb by 7:00 a.m. on your scheduled collection day. Bulk items such as furniture, mattresses, bicycles, and televisions can also be collected when properly placed at the curb.

Have old appliances or tires? Residents can receive FREE Wednesday collection for eligible appliances and up to five tires. Simply call 601-960-1193 or 311 by 3:00 p.m. Tuesday to get on the Wednesday collection list.

Please take a moment to review the attached guide. How we prepare our waste matters. It helps our crews, keeps our streets cleaner, and prevents unnecessary dumping throughout our neighborhoods.

A cleaner Jackson starts at home and at the curb.
