We remember Marty Kierych who tragically died in the line of duty 46 years ago.

Marty Kierych was born on November 11, 1940 in New York to parents Josephine and James Kierych. They moved to Elizabeth, NJ where he graduated Thomas Jefferson High School in 1958. Marty married Mary Ann Irwin on September 17, 1960; they moved to Jackson, NJ in 1961. Marty was a devoted father to Dennis, Davis, Susan, Laurie and Douglas. He joined the Jackson Volunteer Fire Department in 1971, where he served as an Officer; he also served on the Board of Fire Commissioners. Marty’s last alarm was on July 16, 1980.

Rest easy brother. We will never forget you and your service to our community.

The moment has finally come for our probationary members Bobby Baliatico, Ben Rottensreich and Jefferson Yeshe to graduate the Toms River Fire Academy, and our members could not be more proud! Congratulations Probationary Firefighter Bill Bredesen on completing the "Put It All Together" day at Monmouth County Fire Academy. This is a huge accomplishment for Bill! This is a MAJOR milestone in fire academy training where recruits apply everything they have learned. Bill did a great job and we are so proud of him! We look forward to see him graduating from the fire academy soon!

Boozy Bingo was a huge success! Thank you so much to everyone who participated, and a big thank you to everyone that helped make this event possible! Our food vendor Uncle Ed's Touch of Sauce BBQ was delicious, and Jersey Smokes was on point with their beautiful basket and ci**rs! JUST ONE WEEK AWAY!!!!!!!! Make sure you get your tickets today!!!! If you are buying 8-10 tickets, make sure you get all tickets in the same name and add a comment with your team name! Your team can dress up and decorate your table for your theme! Some things you can expect for Boozy Bingo:

- DOORS OPEN AT 5 PM GAMES START AT 6 PM!!!!!
- Bring cash! There will be fun games, 50/50, extra regular bingo games (and special bingo games) alcohol (and non-alcohol) drinks and other fun things for sale!
- FOOD!!!! We will have desserts for sale and Mr. Softee will be making a surprise appearance! We will also have a food truck available to sell food.
- A cigar lounge will be available in the pavillion OUTSIDE of the building courtesy of Jersey Smokes! Ci**rs will NOT be allowed to be smoked inside, but will be able to be purchased and smoked by the pavillion away from the building.
- Please make sure to bring your ID and your Eventbrite tickets available to be scanned when you enter the hall! Tables will be given a bag with their bingo boards, drinks tickets and door prize tickets!
-Parking! Parking will be limited the day of. The entrance of the hall will be blocked off for guests to be able to walk from the pavilion to the food truck and the entrance, and the front or the building by the Firetruck bay doors will be blocked off for parking for staff and for members responding to calls! Parking eill he available at the schools behind the firehouse as well as Camp Joy at your own risk.
