Our 5th and 6th graders are off on an exciting Summit to Sea adventure in Acadia National Park! Over the next few days, students will explore unique coastal ecosystems, investigate tide pools, learn about habitats and the fascinating creatures that call them home, and deepen their understanding of the connections between land and sea.
This experience is about more than science. In partnership with our friends at Tin Mountain, students will build teamwork, strengthen relationships, and create lasting memories together through shared exploration and discovery.
As student leaders, they will also be preparing to share their learning with younger JGS students as we get ready for next week's Ocean Day experience. We can't wait to see how their knowledge, enthusiasm, and curiosity inspire others.
