Prescription Drug Take Back Day in Mississippi to be held on Thursday, August 9

MBN partners with local law enforcement agencies to take back prescription meds

The Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics (MBN), in cooperation with Sheriff and Police Departments in north, central and south Mississippi, has scheduled a Prescription Drug Take Back Day to allow residents of the state to safely dispose of unneeded medications. Medications in all forms will be accepted at the locations listed below from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, August 9.

Attorney's Office, Mississippi State Medical Association, Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics and a host of sponsors have joined forces to begin the battle against prescription drug overdose and death in our state.
