πŸ‘πŸ“ˆ This week, the Jackson-Butts County Rotary Club welcomed our very own Kim Freshwater of Century 21, Crowe Realty for an insightful look at the Butts County real estate market. Kim shared how population growth, consumer trends, and neighborhood profiles influence home values, buyer demand, and marketing strategies. Understanding who is moving to Butts County and what they’re looking for helps buyers make informed decisions, sellers market their homes more effectively, and real estate professionals better serve our growing community. Thank you, Kim, for an informative presentation and for helping us better understand the future of the Butts County housing market! πŸ πŸ“ŠπŸ‘

Rotary is a great place for building connections, but it is also a place where we gain a lot of knowledge from our speakers. From topics like AI to the many ways our community is working to support and shape our youth, each program offers valuable insight and learning opportunities. Recent speakers include Dr. Valerie Mercer and Chris Watson!

Dr. Valerie Mercer is an Assistant Professor of Information Technology and MSIT Coordinator at Middle Georgia State University. She has played a key role in advancing AI education at MGA, helping develop programs and courses that prepare students to apply artificial intelligence in real world settings.

Chris Watson serves as the Area Director for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) in Henry, Butts, and Newton counties. Through FCA, he works to impact coaches and athletes by building character, leadership, and faith, helping young people grow both on and off the field.

Join us today at 12 at Red Devil Hill for Club Assembly!

One of the best parts of Rotary is the connections you make and the opportunity to learn from the incredible people who shape our community.

We recently heard from Terry Whitaker with Scouting America Flint River Council, who shared how local scouting programs are building leadership, character, and life skills in our youth while creating strong community ties.

Last week, Laura LaChappelle joined us to talk about the American Exchange Project, a program giving Jackson High School graduates the opportunity to experience a different part of the country through a one week exchange while also welcoming a student here. It is a unique way to see a new side of America and get involved as a host family right here in our community.

Join us today at 12 at Red Devil Hill to hear from our Rotary President and County Manager Brad Johnson.

Rotary is where good things and good times happen. At Jackson Butts Rotary, we truly Unite For Good!

Last week, our Rotary Club donated two much needed laptops to Head Start. We also had the pleasure of hearing from Byrd Garland, a retired attorney from Smith, Welch, Webb & White.

Byrd shared stories from his time practicing law that were both hilarious and heartwarming. We always love hearing from our very own local legends!

Come see us at Red Devil Hill today at 12! 😊
