MFCR Chairman Kye Webb, MFCR Vice Chair Ben Gipson, and MFCR Secretary Ava Abernathy had the opportunity to attend the Lincoln-Reagan-Trump Gala hosted by the Mississippi Republican Party. It was a great event that brought together hundreds of like-minded conservatives from across the state.

The evening featured two keynote speakers: Mississippi Governor Tate Reeves and RNC Co-Chair KC Crosbie.

Governor Reeves highlighted Mississippi's recent successes, noting that our state is making headlines across the nation for outperforming states such as California in education. He emphasized that these achievements are the result of strong conservative leadership and Republican governance in Mississippi.

It was a fantastic evening, and everyone had a great time!

The Mississippi Federation of College Republicans is saddened to learn of the passing of State Representative Price Wallace.

A native of Simpson County, Representative Wallace dedicated his life to serving his constituents and improving the lives of Mississippians. His tenure in the Mississippi House of Representatives will leave a lasting mark on our state's history. He played a leading role in restoring the ballot initiative process and, drawing on his experience as a poultry farmer, became one of the strongest advocates for agriculture in the Mississippi House.

We are grateful for Representative Wallace's service to our state and extend our deepest condolences to his wife, family, and loved ones during this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with them.

Today, the MFCR are in thought of the Mississippi Federation of Republican Women as they mourn the loss of Mrs. Ruby Ainsworth.

Mrs. Ainsworth was a champion not only for the MFRW but for the entirety of the Mississippi Republican Party. We are deeply grateful of her dedication to help keep our Great State a Republican one.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Mrs. Ruby Ainsworth’s family.

This past Saturday the MFCR’s reconvened to elect a new Secretary! The MFCR decided to elect Ava Abernathy from Mississippi State University!

Ava is a native of Brandon, MS. She is currently a sophomore studying Political Science. Ava also serves as vice chairwoman of the Mississippi State University College Republicans.
