Welcome to the JPEC team, Mrs. Kim Cramer! 💛

Mrs. Cramer has joined us as our Health & Physical Education Teacher!

She brings 10 years of teaching experience in both Art and Physical Education. Coming from a family of educators and having had several incredible teachers herself, she was inspired early on to pursue a career in education and make that same kind of impact on her own students.

Mrs. Cramer attended Siena Heights University, where she earned her K–12 Art certification, and later earned her K–12 Health & Physical Education endorsement through Teachers of Tomorrow.

Originally from Pittsford, she enjoys staying active and spending time with her family. Outside of school, you can find her reading, hiking with her dog, running, taking photos, or playing volleyball.

Fun fact—Mrs. Cramer is a dual-sport Hall of Famer in Cross Country and Track! She is also currently training for the Detroit International Half Marathon. 🏃‍♀️

We are so excited to have Mrs. Cramer join the JPEC family and can't wait for our students and families to get to know her!

Welcome to the JPEC team, Cameron Solberg! 💛

Cameron has joined us as a Math Teacher!

Originally from Fargo, North Dakota, she brings a unique combination of passions for both mathematics and music to JPEC. She spent three years teaching math before making the move to Jackson and is excited to bring her experience and enthusiasm into the classroom.

She earned Bachelor’s degrees in Mathematics Education and Instrumental Music Education from North Dakota State University and is currently working toward her Master’s degree in Teaching and Technology at Valley City State University.

Music continues to be a big part of her life outside of the classroom. She plays the oboe, has performed with community ensembles in the Fargo-Moorhead area, and has taught private oboe lessons to students in grades 4–12.

She recently moved to Jackson with her fiancé, Jared, and their dog, Bean, and is excited to become part of the Jackson community. In her free time, she enjoys making music, crocheting, knitting, and getting lost in a good book.

We are so excited to have Cameron join the JPEC family and can't wait for our students and families to get to know her!

Welcome to the JPEC team, Mrs. Vergara-Bird! 🎶💛

Mrs. Vergara-Bird has joined us as our Music Teacher!

She is passionate about music and is excited to share that passion with our students while creating opportunities for them to explore, learn, and grow through music. She looks forward to bringing music to life at JPEC and throughout our community!

Mrs. Vergara-Bird earned degrees in Music Education and Spanish from James Madison University in Virginia. While attending JMU, she performed with the Wind Symphony, Symphonic Band, Marching Royal Dukes, University Choirs, and Low Key Acapella.

She comes to JPEC after spending the last two years teaching band, piano, and music technology at Rocktown High School in Harrisonburg, Virginia.

Outside of school, Mrs. Vergara-Bird loves to read, travel and find new adventures, and spend time with her wife and their puppy.

We are so excited to have Mrs. Vergara-Bird join the JPEC family and can't wait to see her share her love of music with our students!
